North East Celebrates Flag Day at 2nd Friday, June 14th

Summer is starting up in the scenic town of North East, MD. Join us on Main Street on Friday, June 14th from 5-7pm for a 2nd Friday celebration throughout town. Our theme is month is “Flag Day” so be sure to display your American flags and/or buntings.
It will be a fantastic evening of food, drinks, music and fun – welcome the start of summer with us! The full 2nd Friday series is made possible by our Premier Sponsors: Elk River Brewing Company, Snatcher’s Creekside, and Crouch Funeral Home.
What’s Happening:
Entertainment on The Green provided by Rikki Dolor, sponsored by Fairwinds Farm & Stables
4 Author Book Signings at Kathy’s Corner Shop and 1 pony named Muggles will be there!
Music at Snatcher’s Creekside
Music on porch of the future Elk River Brewing Company (North East) with the band Five Foot Nothin’ next to Aspen Property Management
Turkey Point Vineyard will be offering Free Wine Tasting (wine by the glass and by the bottle for purchase) at The Little House on The Green
Non-profits such as House of Hope, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Bee My Voice/Live for Thomas and others will be set up in front of businesses on Main Street.
There will be some activities for children at a couple of the businesses.

Lowes has graciously donated the rope that is required around the perimeter of The Green!
And of course, the all important Porta Pot is donated by Regal Restrooms.
