October 2025: Your monthly update on events and programs at the Library

9/30/25
Checking in from one of our library study rooms— reminder that study rooms are available at the Perryville, North East, and Elkton branches. They’re the perfect quiet spots to focus and get work done!

Since we’re now a month into the school year, I want to highlight an amazing resource:

Student Virtual Library Cards. What is a Student Virtual Library Card? It’s a partnership between Cecil County Public Library and Cecil County Public Schools that gives every CCPS student access to library services using their student ID—both in-person at any branch and online through our website. What can students do with it: Borrow up to 5 items fine-free, download ebooks and audiobooks, access test prep and college planning resources and get research, homework, and project help. It’s truly
the ultimate back-to-school tool!
