Salute to Cecil County Veterans is July 3rd

The Salute for 2025 is a “Go”!
Our Event is now the 34th Annual Salute to Cecil County Veterans Celebration Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 from 4-10PM North East Town Park 300 Cherry Street, North East MD 21901 It’s fun for the whole family! We convene in the North East Town Park, where veterans’ service organizations vend their wares to raise funds for their chapters, local community organizations have displays of their missions, and food vendors work to fill your stomach!
The park will also have military equipment, vehicles, and military personnel and fireworks around 9:20PM! Also, in the park, there are family-oriented activities such as face painting, and there is a “Field of Flags” by the Rotary Club of North East to honor those who served.
The official ceremony includes the flag raising, pledge of allegiance, salute to the veterans, all along with local community leaders and veteran leaders making presentations. Local musicians perform prior to the honor ceremony, and local officials and community leaders recognize the veterans and organizations with awards.
