This Weekend’s Elkton Fall Fest: Music, Vendors, Food, Kid Zone and much more ....
Elkton is ready to celebrate the season with its biggest event of the year — the 28th annual Elkton Alliance Fall Fest. Angelina Battaglia joined Cecil TV’s Rob Chirnside to share what’s in store for this weekend’s festivities, which promise fun for all ages.
The celebration kicks off Friday night with a classic car show from 5:30 to 8 p.m., complete with live music from the Wild Nights Band and plenty of food vendors. Then on Saturday, downtown Elkton transforms into a festival hub with more than 150 vendors, including artisan crafts, retail booths, and a wide variety of food.
New this year is the expanded Adventure Zone, set up in the Howard Street parking lot, featuring moon bounces, pony rides, a petting zoo, a 26-foot rock climbing wall, and an obstacle course. Live music will continue throughout the weekend, including a performance by the Nightcrawlers.
“This is definitely our biggest Fall Fest yet,” Battaglia said. “There’s something for everyone — families, kids, and anyone who just wants to enjoy the season.”
Fall Fest has been a tradition in Elkton for nearly three decades, marking the end of summer and welcoming autumn with community spirit, entertainment, and plenty of food. And as Battaglia reminded viewers, Elkton’s beloved Halloween Parade is just around the corner on October 17.
