Cecil TV: Thursday at the Cecil County Fair featuring School Bus Demolition Derby
As the threat of rain diminished on Thursday afternoon, anticipation for the evenings demolition derby was in the air. While early arrivers staked out spots in the stands, activity on the midway was brisk. A band played southern rock and people enjoyed the many Fair food offerings.
Meanwhile, inside the Ed Walls building, businesses and organizations greeted fairgoers, handed out promotional items and delivering their messages. With the stands packed, the crowd waited anxiously for the start of the night’s event. Kicking off the spectacle of destruction would be the Schoolbus Heat featuring four of the enormous vehicles battling till the horn sounds.
Cecil Tv will back Friday night with more demolition derby excitement.
