Did you know that meeting rooms are available to reserve free of charge at the Perryville, Elkton, North East, Rising Sun, and Chesapeake City branches? They’re a great space for community groups, meetings, and more!

Big Events at CCPL
Library Cake Social: Slices of Support – Join us on Sunday, May 17th at the Elkton Branch for the very first Library Cake Social—a fun, creative fundraiser hosted by the Friends Foundation of Cecil County Public Library. Talented home bakers and community supporters will come together for an afternoon filled with cake, connection, and celebration, all to support the planned 2027 Elkton library renovation and future Maker Space.
Childrens’ Book Festival – On Saturday June 13th from 10-2 at the North East Branch Join us for a fun-filled day for the whole family! Meet and greet local children’s book authors while enjoying family-friendly activities such as face painting, ice cream, and more. Registration is not required for this event and every child will receive a free signed book of their own!
